After their battle with a Spanish Man of War, Bonnet & his crew partnered with the notorious Edward Thatch aka Blackbeard and continued to terrorize the seas. A total of 25 ships have been reporting in 1717, the majority off the Virginia Capes
1718 was an eventful final year in the life of Major Bonnet. He traveled the Caribbean, took several prizes (28 documented) and ultimately faced his final battle at Cape Fear.
